VMware has announced the appointment of its new Senior Director of Technology for its Australia and New Zealand arm – Mr Sean Kopelke. The newly appointed Senior Director of Technology will be bringing his experience of more than 20 years in enterprise technology to VMware ANZ.
He will be joining the software company straight out of Microsoft where he was a Technical Director and led teams across the APAC and Australia regions.

In his technological experience spanning over 2 decades, Sean stepped into senior roles at Zscaler, Riverbed Technology, Symantec and FireEye.
At VMware ANZ, Kopelke’s responsibilities include representing the company’s technology to partners and customers and leading its Systems Engineers (SE) as well as SE Managers in customer engagement while partnering with Senior Sales Leaders to develop and enhance technology strategies for customers.
